Early Career Researchers Forum by GASG – Open to All Interested

For early-career researchers or those simply interested in gas sensing and analysis, the Gas Analysis and Sensing Group (GASG) is hosting their 5th Early Career Researchers Forum and 90th Meeting on Thursday, 20th March 2025, at Crowcon Detection Instruments in Abingdon, with potential online access (to be confirmed).

This event offers early-career professionals a great opportunity to share their work and connect with others in the field. Presentations are kept brief at 15 minutes, and requirements are light—just a short abstract and tweet, which GASG will share on the day.

Presentations may cover:

  • New sensors, instruments, and analytical methods

  • Detection of gases, particles, and aerosols

  • Policy and legislation implications

  • Applications in fields like environmental monitoring, industrial safety, healthcare, and beyond

GASG's forums are fast-paced and engaging, providing a wide-ranging look at recent developments and emerging tech. This unique gathering includes a blend of industry experts, academics, and practitioners, fostering a collaborative environment with real-world reach.

Applications are due by 16th December 2024. Visit GASG’s website for details and to apply, or email admin@gasg.info for further information.

Note: This event is organised by GASG and not affiliated with SWIG, though we encourage interested members to consider attending.
