About the event

SWIG’s May workshop will focus on the emergence of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things within the water industry. This event will bring together experts from various fields to discuss the latest developments and applications of these technologies in the water sector.

The workshop will feature a series of presentations from leading researchers and practitioners in the field. These presentations will cover a wide range of topics such as the use of AI and ML for waste/water treatment and distribution, the integration of IoT devices for water management and monitoring, and the potential for these technologies to improve water efficiency and conservation.

Researchers will discuss the use of AI algorithms to optimise the operation of water treatment plants, as well as the use of IoT devices to monitor parameters at the edge. Additionally, presenters will further discuss the potential for AI and IoT to improve distribution systems using smart meters and real-time monitoring.

We look forward to welcoming you to the workshop and exploring the many possibilities of AI and IoT in the water industry.
